| Andersson & Kruse Läs mig... |
| Last Autumn the songwriter team Joel Andersson and Patrik Kruse released a single/Ep which received excellent critics from the press, and got good reception from the national Radio Broadcast. The song "Pyssel" got air play on several radio stations around Sweden, and lots of radio producers became to like Joel's warm voice and Patrik's charismatic vocals. The lyric's juicy and classical metaphorical language is taken from Leif Nüth's collection of poems "Leka Kurragömma"published by Bokmaskinen 1983. The national troubadour Fred Åkerström, was presented to the poems of Nüth, and wanted to put music to them. Unfortunately Fred Åkerström died, and it was first when Gunilla Bruzewits-Nüth(widow of Nüth since 1990) heard Andersson & Kruse that she knew, she'd found the ones to continue the work of Leif Nüth and put music to his poems. |

Joel and Patrik started to work together in the beginning of the nineties in different rock bands. They found a common interest in Cornelis Vreeswijk's songs, and they where soon established as skilful interpreters, of our own "The Flying Dutchman". When they eventually got their hands on Leif Nüth's poems, sweet music occurred. After only a few hours 5 - 6 songs were ready, or as Patrik says: "There is an incredible musical force in the poems, they write themselves". |

Läs
mig... (Read me) is a colourful blend of songs. Patrik Kruse begins with a
couple of popsongs, were the title song "Läs
mig..." presumably is going to be a favourite among
lots of people. Joel Andersson, has a somewhat more
mellow output in the songs "Kungen", the
single-track "Pyssel" and the beautiful
"Knussel". Often Andersson & Kruse enter
smoky stages and play rough places, which you can hear in
the "Aristo cats-like" "Brevet" and
the New Orleans inspired "Du vet du ej ska
gråta". Joel leaves his last contribution with
"Återseende", and Patrik closes the CD with
"Resan", a mixed of Argentinean tango, circus
